Hid by the steep cliffs of Norikia Urbanus was preparing for departure. But now, once crowded docks were silent. Stars shined brightly despite of the grey clouds which flew idly to the horizon. The whole landscape, colored in grey, froze waiting for something. It was that kind of weather which makes people sleepy and often predicts a storm.
Vincent stared with indifference in the deadlight. Behind his back Morris, the first mate, was grumbling at the celebrations on the lower deck. “We’ll set sail at dawn, finish the preparations”, Vince finally said after a long pause. “What?” “It’s not allowed by the rules”. “Don’t worry about that so called party, hopefully they won’t take deck to pieces. After all I can take care about this myself.” The hangar on the lower deck wasn’t too crowded because Urbanus was sailing with only the half of the crew as a prototype ship. Anyway that people despite of their number made a hell of a noise as it was the only time to relax from the military discipline. OOC: I've posted an intro so you can post now, just don't get too drunk, you're on the battleship after all -------------------- ![]() |

OOC: Assuming it has an armory, I am guess she would pretty much be the ships arms master given her field of expertise.
Trying her best to get out of the party Tania had resisted the thought, she had to finish inspecting the weapons stored onboard first. Once she had finished and done up a report she delivered it to Vincent, they knew her as Thylia and she had not once let her real identity slip. "All arms and equipment check out, no problems within the armory. Now if you'll excus...." Her navi rushed over and grabbed her arm, trying to drag her towards the celebrations. She did not want to go, but then she was part of the crew and it would not be right. "Come on, you really need to relax a little. It's not like their gonna find you he...." Thylia clamped a hand over her mouth, and glared at Dania who seemed a little sheepish. Looking back to the captain and the first mate, she kinda laughed and excused herself. "Looks like I have a party to go to, anything before I leave?" Her navi was always near, even when she didn't want her around. Though it was never a bad thing, she just hated how Dania was the total opposite to her. "You'll have fun, you really don't need to dwell on the past." |

OOC: Hmm... *hits self in the head* remind me to post... Otherwise I will forget..
IC: Alex sat slumped in an empty corridor, listening to the sounds of revelry. He was not in the mood. Then again, he was rarely in the mood for parties. With a sigh he drew his sword and ran his fingers across the blade. He would have sharpened it, except that would have been pointless. It wasn't going to get much sharper then it was. He sheathed it again. Alex stood up and took a step towards the party. With a sigh he slumped back down. 'Why bother?' he taught, 'its only gonna make it worse' He closed his eyes and hummed a tune to himself, he would not have long before someone dragged him to the party. He would have to make the most of the solitude he had. -------------------- Give a man a fire and he'll be warm for a day.
Set a man on fire and he'll be warm for the rest of his life. The only thing worse then fighting for what is wrong, is not fighting for what is right. |
